Help Moving Office member Area Sq complete an exciting fit-out for Sybase UK Ltd
When enterprise software and service company Sybase wanted to move to a stylish new office in Maidenhead, Berkshire, Help Moving Office knew just the company to help them. Office design experts Area Sq came up with a sleek and contemporary design scheme for Sybase’s fit-out across 31,672 sq ft of office space. This allowed the hi-tech international company to feel at home in a working environment that best reflects their business values.
The refurbishment happened in-situ so construction was carefully co-ordinated to occur in different phases around the building, allowing employees to continue work as usual while their new space took shape. Communication has been cited as a key aspect of the project, with both parties acknowledging the importance of forging a strong partnership in order to realise their design goals.
Who better to describe the process than designer for Area Sq, Carrie Spooner, who said: “Focus was on the client facing side of the design, giving a spacious, modern meeting and training suite together with a coffee shop style breakout space.” Adding, “The office areas were given a face lift resulting in light, bright working space with colour themes relating to the corporate brand.”
Overall, the £1.5 million project took 26 weeks to complete and provided Sybase with carefully considered work spaces and break out zones that would allow them space to leave their desks and unwind away from the workstation. Bold colours gave an invigorating lift to the scheme, while modern furniture and uncluttered floor plans gave a relaxed yet professional environment for both the Sybase staff and their visitors.
