Recycle Scotland is a re use and recycle scheme which diverts redundant office furniture and equipment away from landfill and back into use within the community. With a target of saving 1000 tonnes of office furniture in 2011, Recycle Scotland is hoping to make companies moving office in Scotland aware of their social corporate responsibilities by encouraging them to recycle what they don’t need in their new office.
There’s another cost-saving perk too for companies moving office in Scotland as Recycle Scotland is offering refurbished office furniture for sale from its operations hub in West Lothian.
