Internet search giant Google is looking to move office in London
Even the biggest companies know that to get ahead of their competition they need to move office to maximise their business opportunities. So it comes as little surprise to hear that internet search engine Google are on the hunt for bigger and better office space in the King's Cross area of London.
News has broken that the online business is looking to upscale from its previous search to look for a work place to better accommodate its growing staff base. Their previous office hunt saw them look for a 150,000 sq ft space but in order to suit the growing demands of their business they are increasing their work space to a considerably bigger 400,000 sq ft. The astronomic growth of this multi-faceted internet corporation is reflected by their series of office moves, showing that all the best businesses hop the office relocation ladder in order to accommodate their booming businesses.
At present, the company resides at Belgrave House in the SW1 postcode and their desk space amounts to 80,000 sq ft in all. They also moved to 123 Buckingham Palace Road with a 45,000 sq ft corporate office take up. Google have also been making investments with new commercial property purchases such as two buildings in the business centre of Dublin to make room for their expansion. It seems world domination for this innovative internet leader relies on more than an office move or two!
