Make the right impression with office signage
There are lots of options for corporate signage – do you know which one to go for?
Arranging signage is on the checklist of any office mover and will officially mark the take over of your new space. There are lots of things to consider when deciding upon new signage for your offices, such as the location of the signs and the style of the font and backing.
If your office has a street presence you will want to get a sign for the front of your office. If you are situated in a business centre or an office block, you will need to issue some way-finding floor signs to direct visitors and clients. If you have large offices you might require signs for different departments, direction signs from reception or door signs. Should there be existing office sign boards, you may be able to replace signs with individual name slats.
When thinking about the style of your signage, you will need to think carefully about your company image and the first impression you would like to project. Clear Perspex signs with standoff fixings can look very smart, particularly against wood or stone walls. Frosted door signs can offer light, privacy and add a corporate touch to personalising offices and meeting rooms. Partitioning is a great place to bring in some signage and can reinforce the company brand throughout the building. Brass and oak signage is particularly sophisticated and is an understated way in which to make a huge impact on clients.
Ask your appointed Office fit-out company to advise you on the most appropriate signage for your new offices.
