Manchester Office Market Report released
Data has been compiled by the CoStar Group on the Manchester commercial property market
A market report conducted for April 2010 by CoStar Group, a specialist research group covering commercial property research and information, has outlined the office climate in the northern city of Manchester. CoStar have revealed that in the city, which boasts exciting office developments such as Spinningfields, the average rental rates for space are at £17.00 per sq ft.
CoStar’s last market report for the area stated that out of 50,936 sq ft of office space in the city, 21 percent was second hand office space and 79 percent was new or refurbished. By the end of April 2010 the amount of office space marketed in the area had reached 4.3 million sq ft. CoStar added that at the time of their last survey going to press, 100,931 sq ft was under offer in Manchester.
