Getting the Office Removals part of your office move right is absolutely crucial. Not only is it the part of the move that often gets judged, it's also the key to ensuring that business interruption is minimised and business operations can be maintained throughout the office relocation.

The Office Removals Process may at first, seem complicated, but having a basic understanding of what the process involves will help you to plan and execute a smooth office relocation. This process assumes you have already obtained your Office Removals Quotes and appointed your chosen Office Removals Company.

Stage 1 - Office Removals Consultation & Site Visit

Following the appointment of your Office Removals Company, a Supervisor from the company will visit your office to carry out a full pre-office move consultation.  This will involve visiting your new and current premises to review access, see how the new office is laid out and also what items need specialist attention.

Stage 2 - Inventory

Each furniture item and equipment will be inventoried by your Office Removals Company to provide them with the full scope of exactly what resources are required, and also for insurance and liability purposes.

A colour-coding system will also be established at this point so items can easily be located and unpacked at the new office quickly.

Stage 3 - Packing

On the day of your office move, a full Office Removals Team will carefully pack your items, label and colour code them so they can be unpacked in a logical order at the other end.

Depending on the size of your business, some packing may even need to be done beforehand to ease the workload and stick to the timetable.

Stage 4  - The Move Day

All boxes will be loaded onto the Office Removals Van and safely transported to the new office.  Access to the new office will need to be arranged and your Office Removals Team will need to be familiar with your new Office Space Plan so that items can be unloaded according to their new home.

Stage 5 - Unpacking

The Office Removals Team will then unpack all items and place them in their new respective location. All boxes, crates and packaging will quickly be removed from the premises to avoid safety hazards and business can resume as quickly as possible.

Stage 6 - After Care Support

You may choose to unpack some boxes yourselves at a later stage once the dust has settled, and there's always lose ends you need to tie up with your Office Removals Company at later stage. They'll be at hand after the office move to make sure you are settling happily into your new workplace.

To help this Office Removals Process go smoothly, use the Office Removals Checklist and get all those important items ticked off before the big move day.
