Liverpool city centre gets major office refurbishment
Why recent investment in Liverpool is making it a desirable office location for movers
Those considering a move to office space in Liverpool will be keen to know that investment in the city’s commercial property sector is on the up. This has been helped along with a number of investments coming in a short space of time alongside larger sums of money being paid out to bring desk space in the northern hub up to scratch.
Reports in the Liverpool Daily Post detail a recent refurbishment that has occurred with the hope of attracting economic growth from business activity back to Merseyside. The re-fit of Columbus Quay has been a ‘top-to-toe’ renovation which has seen £50,000 plumbed into a plush waterfront office. Brian Ricketts, an agent working on the fit-out, said, “This is a truly spectacular scheme which offers a perfect and impressive working environment in terms of quality, price and location.” Adding, “The interior transformation is now nearly complete and is available to view.”
The 4,000 sq ft space is just one of many work space opportunities open to companies looking to relocate or move office in the Liverpool postcode which has long been a world centre of trading. The current top rent of Grade A office space in the city is £20 per sq ft, so Liverpool is an affordable alternative to London. Also, with road and rail networks as well as the Liverpool John Lennon Airport nearby, the city is well-equipped to offer any size of enterprise an excellent base.
