Office Design Inspiration
Moving to new premises is a great opportunity to put your own stamp things and create a productive, functional and inspiring environment from which to work. If you’re finding it hard to be inspired about designing your new office space, take a few of these tips below and see how creative you can be about designing and space planning your new office.
Work pods
If you are occupying an open plan space, creating a few work pods enables you to create a quiet space that you can use for informal meetings or as a quiet zone for more concentrated and/or private work. Alternatively, you use a work pod as a space for printing, teapoint or recycling station and separate any noise and clutter from the rest of the space.
Storage Solutions
If you want your new office to look as minimalist as possible, yet you still need a fair amount of storage units to house all your files, there are a whole myriad of innovative options that can store all your files and also double up as meeting points, touchdown areas and act as space dividers. They’re also flexible too so you rearrange the structures to suit your needs.
Reception area
Your reception area needs to make a big impact and is a crucial part of the workplace design process. If you’re short of space and you don’t have a receptionist, you can make a welcoming and inviting area with one or two chairs that visitors can use within your open plan space. Add some finishing touches with office art, or plants to give a positive first impression about your business.
Meeting Rooms
The meeting room can make a positive impact on your existing and prospective clients. It’s a place where they may spend most of their time when they visit your office, so it’s imperative it portrays the right image. Visitors need to feel comfortable so even if you don’t splash out on new office furniture for your staff, it’s worth investing in new, coordinated office furniture for your boardroom. You should also consider what audio visual equipment you may need and discuss the technical requirements of these with your IT relocation company. Talk to an Office Fit-out company in your area who will help you implement some of the office design ideas we’ve outlined here and carry out a Workplace Appraisal to make your new office an inspiring place to work.
